They said press ups were a bad idea, in fact they said they were stupid and dangerous. They did have to accept that press ups have improved mobility though and today another break through, its ok I don’t mean literally.
This mornings press ups were achieved, as normal, using left hand and right fist but tonight finally I have managed to use righty as a hand! The angle is appalling and any gym instructor would be livid, numbers are down to 10 but my right hand is load bearing.
Because the number was low I topped up with righty in fist pose and grabbed 18 so all in all I am most impressed. An interesting feature of the split position is that when I returned to holding righty as a fist the ‘musical’ accompaniment changed, I guess this is something to do with healing.
Some will question the burning in my forearms but I know that is muscles adapting to renewed demands. Some will be so bold as to question the gravely sound in righty but they just don’t know him like I do.
Lefty had better shape up now, all the attention seeking won’t seem so clever now that I have an alternative.
