Good progress reported today although there are still concerns over the rotation of lefty so the cuff stays on.
Righty is positive but obviously has a way to go, new exercise plan will hopefully help that.
We spent some time examining scars today and the tethering on lefty seems to be resolute and there for the duration but righty has much more interesting tales to tell. The vascular system is very poorly developed on the graft which is in danger of dying off whereas the development of ‘infill’ from me is looking better but the infill is presenting its own issues. I have tethering on the tendon which is restricting the movement and we have a complicated exercise regime to try and stretch that out.
Apparently the vivid line along the centre which gets more vivid and blisters if I work it too hard is where I am tearing the skin from the tendon! As dramatic as that sounds it shouldn’t be tethered there and whilst physioterrorist was not convinced tearing was a good idea she struggled to find an argument against it so I think we know where that one is going ….
So the ridge you see running along the middle is actually the good bit.
