Have you ever considered that function on most modern cell phones that allows you to insert a pause? Well I’ve found the real life equivalent!
A week ago I apparently had a bike accident ( I have no memory of it) and am now at home with various casts, fractures and extra metalwork. It is clear to me that this is going to hinder the search but I remain as stubborn and driven as ever and it will be no more than a delay. Interestingly 9 days in hospital has taught me that proximity to the beach is more fundamental than I first thought, so I have learnt something ( missed it so much).
There is a picture on my wall of a place called Appley beach, taken in rare winter snow it looks down on the tower and for me it’s simply gorgeous. That is my new mission picture I WILL be there whistling for my dog and smiling at the stunning tranquility of the place that holds my heart.
Honourable mentions, not that any of these people read the blog, must go to friends who you only find when most in need I feel the need to roll call them here because hey one day when I’m famous (or infamous) they will be able to read how vitally important they have been and how their support has astounded me in bad times, take a bow Andrew, John, Claire, mark, les, Tara, ant, paul, Geoff, dave, June, andy’s and jules, true friends one and all.
