Not added a lot to the site recently which is probably an indication of how boring the non pub hunt side of life is! It seems most likely that we will table a short pause in proceedings to allow the combined parts of the purchase to be reconstituted into a single contract, this seems acceptable to all but here again the working away from home is extending every date significantly.
I did discover this weekend that my car requires a minimum of two tyres for the upcoming MOT so plans to purchase a more suitable car for the trade will be shelved for a while. This is because I won’t use cheap tyres and equally don’t want to give away good rubber!
Still trying to find a sensible SIA course, they all seem to be weekend intensive courses at the moment which seems odd given the high number of unemployed! Guess I am looking in the wrong places?
At home there are now three pubs on the market in various guises which does rather make me ponder the insanity of the move but then again perhaps it is just time for some fresh blood in the trade. A lot of the licensees that are struggling are either long termers that are seeing their income decrease or starry eyed newcomers that think its easy, I’m hoping that I have countered both of these areas in that I understand the income level as it stands today and I certainly don’t think its easy!
